Battling Depression

To all those suffering from sadness or depression, know that it isn’t your fault.

It isn’t because you’re weak.
It isn’t because you’re just not grateful enough.
It isn’t because you’re just not religious enough.
It isn’t because you don’t have enough faith.
It isn’t because God is angry with you.

To all the well-meaning people who tell you this, just smile.

And know deep in your heart that the tests of God come in different forms to different people. And know that, by the help of God, every test can become a tool to get closer to Him.
And that, verily, with hardship come ease–and like all things of this world–this too shall pass.

Blowing' In The Wind-Joan Baez

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand
How many times must the cannonballs fly
Before they are forever banned
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing in the wind

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it is washed to the sea
How many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free
How many times can a man turn his head
And pretend that he just doesn't see
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing in the wind

How many times can a man look up
Before he sees the sky

How many ears must one woman have
Before she can hear people cry
How many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing in the wind
